Surrounded by wooded views just a few minutes outside downtown Luray, ‘Restful Pines,’ evokes an authentic cabin-in-the-woods feel. Recently remodeled, ‘Restful Pines’ has everything 6 travelers need for a relaxing retreat. Hidden in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental cabin is surrounded by unspoiled natural beauty.
Drive through the Historic District to grab brunch at Brookside Restaurant or head straight home to sip your morning coffee on the front porch. Venture 4 miles out for public access to the Shenandoah River along with canoe, kayak and tube rentals. Spend a slow morning floating along the river and a relaxing afternoon decompressing in the cabin’s well-appointed living area. Take a seat on the sofa to let your toes thaw in front of the gas fireplace while streaming a show on the flat-screen Smart TV. When hunger hits, the kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances to suit all your cooking needs. Host your family feast in the outdoor dining area, where tranquil tree-lined scenery and local wildlife offer an optimal dining experience. Top the night off with s’mores and stories around the fire pit! Rinse off sticky fingers in one of the 2 full bathrooms before curling up in a queen-sized bed - the downstairs bedroom even offers a flat-screen Smart TV!

Notes

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.

- Please note that 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is necessary in the winter months to access the property
- The road leading up to the cabin is gravel/dirt and flat, however, snow and ice could create difficult driving conditions
- Please note that the property does have cell phone service, but it may be spotty since the property is located in a rural area. A landline is available in case of emergency
-No events, parties or large gatherings
