Beautiful! We thought you should mention that 4 wheel drive is recommended... good thing we brought the truck!! You need some more board games like Monopoly and Scrabble... and maybe a deck of cards. Over all it was a nice getaway for the weekend! We really enjoyed it and will definately come back!!!

Cabin was great. The staff was very helpful as well. We were there during a snow storm (2 ft plus!) and they called to make sure we were o.k and could get out if needed. This cabin is easily accessible with a 4 wheel drive even in a bad storm Cabin was neat and cozy, we would recommend it and stay there again.

My girlfriends and I went up to this cabin for a weekend getaway in early December and were thoroughly impressed with the property. The cabin itself was impeccable--it was clean, nicely decorated, and plenty spacious for 4 women. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the fireplace was stocked with more than enough firewood to last us through the entire weekend (well worth the extra $20). The cabin was just up the road from the owner's house, but it was still very private and had great views of both the mountains and of Luray down below in the valley. There is an entrance to Shenandoah National Park just a few miles (probably less than 5) up the road from the cabin, but if you don't feel like driving into the park to go hiking, there is plenty of land and a few hiking trails right behind the cabin for guests to utilize. The owners of the cabin were extremely friendly and welcoming right from the start. They brought up some dry firewood and several fire starters after we told them that some of our firewood was wet. They also offered to drive into town for us if we needed anything after we received 8 inches of snow the first night we were there (our tiny sedan had trouble making it up and down the steep mountainside in the snow). Overall, we had a really great experience at this cabin. We felt that our money was well-spent, and would recommend it to others in the future.

We had a most enjoyable visit. We enjoyed the serenity, canoeing, and all the amenities. It had everything we needed to relax and feel like we were at home. You can't go wrong if you stay here.

Our recent stay was truly maaahvelous! The attention to detail is outstanding. Everything you could need in the kitchen! And we were so surprised to find the cabin decked out for the holidays! The Christmas tree and garland with lights around the fireplace were such a cozy touch. The next day we got 2-3 inches of lovely snow (wow - what a great touch!) and our dedicated owners called to let us know they would be plowing the drive. Only one suggestion - the TV and DVD player need a sheet with some instructions. We can't wait to return!

The place is absolutely beautiful. Just watching the snow fall while sitting in the hot-tub was worth every penny!

Our Thanksgiving at the cabin was wonderful:). This was our 2nd visit, and it was just as nice as our first (April). Clean, comfortable, we really felt "at home."

Great weekend get a way. We're looking forward to visiting again.

If you are looking to get away from civilization, the Sunflower is your answer. We enjoyed hiking on the AT during the day and relaxing by the fire by night. Clouds kept us from enjoying a full starry sky, guess we will have to come back!

Nice quite place.The rental photo's does it no justice,more beautiful than it looks.After the long drive there we were too tired to shop food so the lasanga was greatly appreciated by owners as well as the little things they left us.We rate it 4 out of 5.The livingroom seating could use a couple footstools to feel more relaxed. This was the first time for our family to be together in a place to accommodate all of us , including the pets. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The home has a very warm feel to it. We loved the grounds and enjoyed playing many rounds of horseshoes. We all would recommend Spring Farm.

I loved the location and view. Also, the kitchen was stocked with very nice utensils and everything you need. As a family of grown children, we had plenty of room. Loved the hot tub.....and the total layout of the home. Nice having cut wood available. Again, this home is highly rated to us.

Everything we were hoping for in a Thanksgiving getaway. The cabin is beautiful, well equipped, etc. As there had been lots of rain prior to our stay. A covered location (even a tarp) to cover a weekends worth of firewood would be helpful. We certainly plan to visit again.

The house and the view of the mountains were lovely. It was a wonderful house and layout for two families with young children and teenagers to stay for Thanksgiving.

Very relaxing. We always look forward to coming to Papa Bear's River Cabin. We love the addition of the hot tub, and we enjoyed visiting the area wineries, the Luray Caverns, and Sperryville. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

What a beautiful setting and what a wonderful, cozy, beautifully decorated, clean and functional cabin, I can;'t say enough good things about this place - it's everything you would want from a log cabin: river views and access, privacy, fireplace, jacuzzi, firepit and a wonderful kitchen. Everything is spotless and everything works! Highly recommended!

We love A Lazy River. This is our 4th or 5th time here. It is a nice cabin with a great location.

I liked having the window candles left on for us -- it felt very welcoming. The bread in the freezer was a pleasant surprise, as were the movies and games in the living room. I liked the sort of camaraderie of finding that previous guests had left coffee and sugar in the cupboard for future guests. It's a very well-maintained place that invites its guests to take good care of it, too. We did see a mouse, inside, as I mentioned over the phone, but it was a non-issue. The place was very clean and homey. Would definitely visit again.

We showed up on a cold and rainy November evening to the surprisingly inviting doors of Nature's Art. The enclosed deck begged us to join it, so we relaxed on the cushions for a while and then went inside to build a nice fire. We whittled away at time reading books, doing crossword puzzles, cooking wonderful meals, sipping wine, and watching the fire crackle. The next morning, we sipped coffee as we watched the Appalachian mist as it rolled over the trees and hills. We will be back.

Emerald in the Woods was a fantastic experience! The cabin is gorgeous and extremely well-appointed. The kitchen is a dream, and so is the wrap-around porch. We had a fabulous time during our stay.

I loved it! Very peaceful with a beautiful breath taking scenery. Perfect size, not too big , not too small. Did have a little problem with the lady bugs but thats nature! :-) I plan to go back every 3-4 months just for a get away from the city.

My wife and I had a great time and will be back again when we get the chance. We love the convenience of having all of the pots, pans, tableware, etc... and being able to eat breakfast while looking over at mountains. The view in the fall was beautiful.

We had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful and well maintained. There was everything there that we needed. There were a lot of fun activities to do in the area. We loved our stay here. The location is perfect, back in the woods, with nothing but Shenandoah National Park behind the house. Bucks View a great place to stay for an extended weekend or even a whole week of activities in the national park, it's a pretty quick drive from here up to Thornton Gap. The satellite TV in the bedroom and living room, and the hottub are really nice extras that you get with this place. We stayed in late October when the leaves were falling off the trees, which made the setting and scenery even better here. Every morning there was a new layer of leaves on the huge deck. We didn't have any complaints at all about our stay. I would caution that if you don't have 4WD you might not want to stay here during the winter. The gravel roads up to right before the property are OK, but the short (few hundred feet) road that the property is on is really steep. My compact sports car did OK even with the road covered in wet leaves, but I don't know if it would have made it with snow and ice.

Our stay at Nature's Art was very enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to have more comfortable living room furniture....looks good but low on comfort. Enjoyed our evenings in front of the fire. Liked the supply of firewood which was included. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We had a great time the sunset was amazing! The cabin was very nice and clean. The internet did not work, but that is okay. Every time we rent a cabin from Allstar we are never disapointed.

Great! Was there this past Summer with family and went back for a girl's weekend. All of my friends loved it! Everything was wonderful!

We loved it!! Even looking at the photos now makes me long to go back. The place was so well equipped and cosy. We particularly liked the 'welcome bear' on the front porch, any ideas where to get one from? We'd like to take it back to England as a reminder. Thanks so much, we will be back in the Spring, as we're planning to hike that part of the Appalachian Trail and will need somewhere idyllic to relax afterwards!

This is a very peaceful and well maintained home. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, homemade soaps in the bathrooms and plenty of towels and linens. My children were thankful for the video gaming system in the living room. Well stocked in the kitchen utensils and an overall viry nice place to stay.

I had a wonderful year...Creekside Cottage is a perfect place in the world to live... Allstar Lodging was helpful and prompt with any questions with great information and solutions... I'd recommend anyone to use them for rentals or adventures. Janice

Our 3 night stay at the Trackside Cabin was great from the minute we walked in. The bottle of Arbor Mist left for us was a nice touch. Christmas decorations were great and the cabin felt extremely cozy. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and hopefully we can return for another stay.

We arrived to a beautiful pristine home that had an Easter basket for our 2 boys,special dog treats for our dog , a great bottle of Merlot and a frozen lasagna in the freezer. Dave and Judy are very warm and kind people, they really want to make your stay special. We loved their outdoor fire pit and made bonfires each night. We have recommended this home to our friends and plan to return next year. Also Linda at Allstar Lodging was the reason we booked this home, she was excellent, polite and very helpful. Thank you Linda for all of your help.

We just came from vacationing of Cainey Hollow Retreat. We love the Cabin and the service. With this email I would like to inform you that we had return the keys in the key box, also clean up the stuff and switched off the lights and AC as per instructions.

This is an amazing place, the house is really clean, appliances and furniture are up to date, kitchen is completely equipped and clean. We had a great experience at the wolf cave, if you want to have fun, enjoy an awesome weekend I truly recommed this house. The views are amazing, the pool is a great entertainment for kids and adults, the jacuzzi is a plus, the basemant is a lot of fun too. I can't stop saying how wonderful this place is. Totally recommend!!!

We stayed at the Island Ford Cabin on May 31 - June 3, 2010. We had a wonderful time with our family. The cabin was clean and fit our needs. The cabin had (2) canoes, (2) Kayaks, (6) bikes, and several inner tubes for the river. The only problem we had was (4) of the (6) bikes had gear issues (did not work properly), other than that the water toys were wonderful, and we had a great time for two days on the river. The fire pit was nice for the evenings, and the weather was wonderful. The linens were available for all the beds, kitchen had plenty of utensils, cups, plates, bowls, pans, etc. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing, and we really liked the idea of the dog run for our family pet. Thank you Allstar Lodging for such a wonderful memory, and we will be renting again from your company.

Marsha (All Star) I just wanted to give you a quick note to let you know that we REALLY enjoyed ourselves and we loved the cabin. I’d say there is an excellent chance that we will elect to rent an All-Star facility in the future for a getaway weekend – and very possibly that same Alta Mira Cottage. My only mild disappointment was not being able to find any instructions on how to operate the satellite TV system. (I’m sure Melanie was actually thrilled by this). Anyway, we really enjoyed it.

Dear Carlos: I wanted to thank you for the wonderful and memorable long weekend we spent at "Brown's Log Cabin" in January. David and I were married by Mr. Ron Wilson at the Page County Courthouse on Friday, January 20. The weather was delightful--I told my friends a little bit of spring arrived as we began our marriage. The cabin was charming and cozy. We really enjoyed the solitude, the view of the river, and peace and quiet... Please thank the owners of the cabin for having such a nice place and sharing it with us. I have attached one of the many photos I took from the relaxing porch on the cabin. We fell in love with Luray. David had been there before, but I hadn't. Everyone was so friendly. As we walked along Main Street, window shopping, people rode by and waved at us, and everywhere we went, folks were warm and kind. We visited the Caverns (very cool!), Uncle Buck's, Creations by Penny (the florist), various shops on Main Street including the coffee house near the top of the hill, the Woodruff Inn for our special wedding day dinner, the nice steak house out towards New Market, and, of course, Walmart! I liked Luray so much that I told David we should buy a cabin there some day. He said we could put it in our 5-year-plan! Thank you, Carlos, for arranging our stay. It was a lovely weekend in a great place, and we'll never forget it.

I would like to say that I really do appreciate all the effort you put into our last stay at Woodland Magic. I was a wonderful vacation. In fact my family has never stopped talking about the entire experience. The worst part of planning a vacation is all the stress that occurs with the search, reservation and locating of the accommodations for your stay. I have never in the past 7 years of planning holiday and regular vacations found a better staff and facilities then that of All Star Lodging. Again Thank you and again you may quote me. The Green Valley Junction cabin was excellent. Very private, all the needed "comforts" of home, and great location to the attractions that we were going to visit. The staff of ASL was excellent, highly energetic, and so easy to work with over the phone. Gladys was great, she helped us find a cabin to meet our personal and monetary needs, gave easy to follow directions to our cabin, and explained the check in and check out procedures very clearly. The transaction vent very smoothly. We have already told our friends and family about ASL, and we will be using them again soon!
