(Answer) Luray Virginia has many things to
offer it visitor's. The list of local attractions is infinite, but here
are just a few: Canoing, Fishing for Trout, Bass, Perch, Catfish,
Swimming, Tubing, Hiking, Mountain biking, close to ski mountains
(Winter Only), site seeing, antique shops, golf, Luray Caverns,
Shenandoah National Park, solitude and peace of mind.

(Question) Where is Luray Virginia?
(Answer) Luray
Virginia is a small, casual but growing town. Conveniently located
approximately 90 miles from Washington DC or 120 Miles from Richmond.
Nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Appalachian Mountain
Range. Luray is a proud community which welcomes its guests and shares
its heritage.Virginia is a vast and beautiful state, and here you can
enjoy a little piece of its natural setting in a private rental cabin
or cottage.
(Question) How soon should I make my reservation?
(Answer)When
making a cabin or cottage reservation it is always best to make that
reservation in advance. The sooner you can make your reservation, the
better your chances are of getting the property you most desire. Due to
the attractiveness of our many cabin and cottage rentals, and our wide
advertising; most customers make their reservations well in advance for
the holidays and weekends. Allstar Lodging holds no legal liability to
the availability of our rental cabins, cottages, vacation homes and
B&B. Some cabins and private cottages may not be available for the
dates you have planned. We make every attempt to keep calendars up to
the minute, but your cabin may be getting reserved online while you
read this.
(Question) Do you require a deposit?
(Answer) We do require a 50% deposit when you make your reservation, balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival.
(Question) What is the Cancellation policy?
(Answer) We have a 30 Day
Cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days
prior to your arrival date, you are eligible for a refund minus a 20%
cancellation fee, insurance and administrative fees are also non
refundable. Once you are within 30 days, there are no refunds
available. However, we do offer Travel Insurance for 7.35% of the total
amount being insured, which covers emergency perils.
(Question) Is there a theme park nearby?
(Answer) Closest theme park is Kings Dominion (about 2 hours). There is a large Indoor Water Park at Massanutten Resort
(Question) How close is Luray to Ski resorts?
(Answer) Luray is less than
1 hour from either Massanutten or Bryce Four Season resorts. Some
properties are as close as 2 - 5 miles from the ski slopes.
(Question) Which properties are closest to Massanutten Resort?
(Answer) Properties are
listed closest to furthest, still within 30 min. - Cainey
Hollow, Trackside Cabin, River Nest, Bears Den, A Papa Bear River cabin.
(Question) Which properties are closest to Bryce Resort?
(Answer) Properties are listed closest to furthest, still within 30 min. - The Wing at Walnut Grove, Nirvana and Frenchman's Pond
(Question) What do I need to bring with me?
(Answer) You will need to bring all personal items such as clothing and bath items. We also suggest: bottled
water (if desired), paper products, tin foil, soap/shampoo, trash bags,
insect spray, flashlight, firewood (if not provided or if you plan on
burning frequently), extra toilet paper/paper towels, bed and bath
linens (if not supplied or rented), beach towels, laundry supplies,
extra dish soap, movies, charcoal and lighter fluid, matches, fire
starter logs, all food/beverages, etc.

If I have extra guest coming to visit at the cabin during my stay do I
have to pay for the extra guest even though they will not stay any
nights?
(Answer)
Yes, you must pay for all guest even if they do not stay the night.
They are still using utilities and the amenities the property has to
offer. In
no event shall the Rental Property be occupied by more persons than the
capacity of the property as stated on the web site or the confirmation
letter, without prior approval by ASL and Owner. Additional guests not
previously approved will incur a $50 per person, per night additional
charge.
