This was a great trip and just what my family needed. Just a couple days to be disconnected from the world and hang out. We built a fire, did some fishing and just had some good family time. Great house also! We enjoyed it. Respectfully, Zack

Thank you for your email, and thank you for allowing us to rent the cabin! Please feel free to share my comments below, as I want folks to understand how truly wonderful the cabin was! We had the best time! I rented the cabin for two nights, as that Sunday was the 3 year anniversary of my husband suddenly passing. My daughters, who came with me are 25 and 15. My oldest also has a 4 month baby. We also brought my aunt and of course the pups. Our dogs, who are 11 and 9, have had to make a major adjustment moving from a house with a big yard into an apartment close to the city. As soon as we arrived, they both jumped out of the car and went immediately to the pond for a swim. They were in heaven! At one point, one of the dogs realized there were fish in the pond and he has a major prey drive. Hed sit on the dock and just watch the water tracking. At one point on Saturday we went outside to find him in the little boat, happy and content!

Notes

After dark, put a lead on your dog when going outside. Trust us, your dog WILL find a skunk! If your dog gets skunked, PLEASE DO NOT let it in the cabin.  You are responsible for any clean-up and/or damage associated with “skunked” dogs.

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.
