Nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley is Spring Farm Retreat. This property is rich with over 200 years of history, dating back to the Civil War Era. Spring Farm offers 10 acres of secluded property with breathtaking mountain views. Curl up with a good book or enjoy a relaxing walk by the natural spring. You may run into the duck family out for a stroll. When evening comes, and the sun is setting, throw a steak on the grill and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. If you’re lucky you'll catch a glimpse of our many deer running across the front field. After dark wander down to the outdoor fire pit and don't forget the marshmallows. This is a property where memories are made to last a life time!

All bathrooms in the main house are located on the second floor. The gas log fireplace is turned off every June 1 until September 15. It is unavailable for use during these dates.

Spring Farm is conveniently located to all major attractions. We are 2 miles east of the world-famous Luray Caverns and 8 miles west of the Shenandoah National Park Thornton Gap Entrance. 31 miles to Massanutten Resort, and the George Washington National Forest Storybook Trail is 15 miles away.

We had a fabulous three night stay at Spring Farm Retreat. We felt at home and in fact the hominess reminded me of one of the old houses I grew up in in Philadelphia. The gas fireplace was a huge plus and we ended every day with wine and conversation in front of the fire. The sunsets were an added bonus. and we walked the front yard every morning. Access to every thing we needed and wanted to see in the National Park and the Valley was very convenient.

Our stay at the Spring farm retreat was enjoyable. The place was spacious and comfortable enough to accommodate our large group. The location gave the privacy we desired so that the kids could make a ton of noise without running the risk of disturbing the neighbors, yet close enough to local markets, fast food and activities. The Wi-Fi allowed my son to respond to all his calls from the hospital so he was very happy. Everyone had a wonderful stay and would be glad to refer others to the spring farm retreat. Stephanie

Our stay at Spring Farm Retreat was absolutely perfect. The house is wonderful and our children had an amazing time visiting Luray Caverns for the very first time nearby. Our only regret was we couldnt stay longer than a weekend. We will definitely be back and would highly reccomend this rental. The house is charming and was the perfect retreat. It is clear the owners have gone the extra mile to make it feel like home away from home. Theresa

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well-stocked. Another really nice aspect of the house was that it was so homey. Although we did not use them, having board games on hand was a nice touch. The house and the setting looked and felt inviting. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of having the heater in the kitchen area running when we arrived, as well as the heater in the other house. The house was a great setting for our family get-together. Ann

We enjoyed our visit to Spring Farm Retreat. The house was warm, inviting & pretty well equipped.More Pots/Pans are needed. Not much to choose from.A heads up about the train coming thru at 5AM might be nice, though we did find it kind of charming. But we are morning people. The hot tub was nice and clean and inviting.Dont think well be back. The walls are thin upstairs and with 2 small children sleeping was difficult. It also gets very hot upstairs. Alil in all,we had a great time.We had a bonfire, made smores, played games, sledded ,cooked &hit the hot tub!!Thank you for sharing this place with our family. Sincerely,Carol Jones

My wife and I met several friends at the Spring Farm Retreat home for a weekend of relaxing. We were pleased from the moment we arrived. The property was much larger than we expected, allowing us to spend time playing volleyball with the provided net, throw around a football, and relax by the firepit with a nearby gazebo. The rooms were gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, and the hottub was hot! With Wal-Mart just 5 minutes up the road, whatever we needed was very accessible. Thank you for your hospitality, and the next time we plan to make a similar trip, Spring Farm Retreat will be difficult to beat. Thanks again! Josh

For the last two years we have had the pleasure of staying at the Spring Farm Retreat located right in Luray VA. It is a wonderfully historic farm house that is spacious and nicely updated. The main floor has a wonderful kitchen that connects to the main sitting area that then connect to the front porch that over looks the amazing front yard. There are many nooks and crannies in the house and several different style bedrooms upstairs. What is probably most exciting is the separate house that another guest can stay in and have his/her privacy. A group of us have stayed at the SFR for two years now and enjoyed the views, patio, house, and owners. It is a fun get away treat! Thank you, Kim

This was the first time for our family to be together in a place to accommodate all of us , including the pets. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The home has a very warm feel to it. We loved the grounds and enjoyed playing many rounds of horseshoes. We all would recommend Spring Farm.
