Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads if you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.

We loved the cabin we just wished it was closer to the water other than that, the cabin was awsome. The accommodations were great and being secluded made it better . Thank you Robert

We had an excellent time. The house was clean and well appointed. Everything worked as it should have. We are very happy with everything about our experience and would certainly rent through your company again and recommend this particular property to others. thank you, Ingrid

Our family had a wonderful week at the cabin and it was one of our best vacations. We spent lots of time on the water relaxing, canoeing, fishing, kayaking, and floating in a tube. The cabin itself was beautiful and very clean. I appreciate all of the quality amenities and you could tell this home is new. When you are on vacation, you want the best and feel you deserve it after working hard all year. This cabin gave me what I was looking for and it was well-decorated. Without hesitation, I would rent this home again. Thanks, Brenda

Hello Allstar Lodging, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "A Above the River Cabin" this past September. It is a very well kept and beautifully decorated cabin. We felt very comfortable there. We are planning to stay there again in the very near future. Thanks again for a memorable stay. Dana

We had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful and well maintained. There was everything there that we needed. There were a lot of fun activities to do in the area. We went to Luray Caverns, hiked several times in Shenandoah National Park, went horseback riding and ATV riding. Thanks again to Tim and Becky for sharing their beautiful home!

What a beautiful setting and what a wonderful, cozy, beautifully decorated, clean and functional cabin, I can;t say enough good things about this place - its everything you would want from a log cabin: river views and access, privacy, fireplace, jacuzzi, firepit and a wonderful kitchen. Everything is spotless and everything works! Highly recommended!

Our Thanksgiving at the cabin was wonderful:). This was our 2nd visit, and it was just as nice as our first (April). Clean, comfortable, we really felt "at home."

Our recent stay was truly maaahvelous! The attention to detail is outstanding. Everything you could need in the kitchen! And we were so surprised to find the cabin decked out for the holidays! The Christmas tree and garland with lights around the fireplace were such a cozy touch. The next day we got 2-3 inches of lovely snow (wow - what a great touch!) and our dedicated owners called to let us know they would be plowing the drive. Only one suggestion - the TV and DVD player need a sheet with some instructions. We cant wait to return!

Dear Becky, Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us. Everything was perfect and the cabin was spotless. We felt right at home and my little dog just loved exploring in the woods. You have truly thought of everything that a guest could need during their stay.
