Happy New Year!!
We had a great Christmas week at Sunset_Ridge. Allstar Lodging is a wonderful go to place for nice places to stay.
Your housekeeping staff is very good. They even put Christmas tree and decorations up for us. All the amenities we needed were at our fingertips. There happened to be a cold spell during our stay and kind of forced us to stay indoors, tree limbs came down. Zane advised not to worry about them. We met Farmer John that owns the cows and sheep that were out the back door. It was so peaceful to just unwind and listen to the wildlife, and stars in the sky were amazing once the clouds blew away.
Thanks again for the opportunity to stay at one of your rentals.

A gem in the Luray valley area. Beautiful views, and a well-maintained hot tub. Who could need anything more? Host was communicative and patiently answered questions we had, and most everything else was answered in the handy binder provided upon arrival. Would stay again when in the area!

We loved our stay at Sunset Ridge! The accomodations were excellent, particularly during the Covid-19 outbreak. Very clean! The owners thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. We are considering renting again next year and spending more time at the rental to just relax and explore the town of Luray. Looking forward to next year!

An amazing little getaway house in a quaint and quiet section of Luray
The house was immaculate! Super clean, and smelled of rustic wood, which was perfect for the setting! The views were breathtaking, the hot tub was perfect temp, and there were no maintenance issues. I would stay here again no questions asked
2 light bulbs were out? I mean, that was literally the worst part. Everything was top notch!

Our stay at the Sunset Ridge lodge was fantastic; the cabin was impeccably clean when we arrived, the kitchen was beautiful, the living area was well appointed with sofas and a table, and both bedrooms had comfortable beds. The directions were a bit complicated to follow to arrive, but well worth getting off the main roads and into a beautiful setting (though if the trees were further from the house, the views would be better). The hot tub functioned well once we understood the controls and made for a relaxing end to each of our days. Overall we were incredibly pleased with our lodgings, and would definitely book the same location again when we return.

Fantastic place to stay in Shenandoah. Close to Luray Caverns, some great hikes, and a few excellent local breweries. The place was very clean, it has a great view, and the hot tub, firepit, and outdoor areas were lovely. A perfect place to stay

Beautiful house and location, in the middle of nature yet just a short drive from Stanley or downtown Luray. Comfortable, quiet and welcoming. The house is clean, modern and perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. It is in a perfectly quiet location, with amenities to enjoy all day long the nature and surroundings. You can watch the sunset from the hot tub, enjoy late nights with the outside fire pit or the inside gas fireplace. A binder with lots of useful information is left for guests, and the rental agency even called us ahead of time to ensure that we didnt have any questions. Lots of small attentions that we appreciated a lot.

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control
