Driving to the cabin will bring you through rolling roads, past farmland, and open pastures with grazing cattle. The mountain views on a clear day are breath taking.
This peaceful log cabin retreat comes fully furnished with all appliances. Soak your aches away in the 2-person Jacuzzi tub, or sit and relax outside on the screened front porch, relax in the 4-person outdoor hot tub, or sit outside around the fire pit and gaze at the stars.
Nearby you’ll find the Shenandoah River which is only ½ mile away. The George Washington National Forest Storybook Trail is a 16-minute drive, Luray Caverns is a 12-minute drive, and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park is about a 25-minute drive. Massanutten Resort is about a 25-mile drive.

The perfect getaway! Loved escaping the city to enjoy the gorgeous area and the peace and quiet the cabin offered. We were close to the family wedding we attended, making access easy! Our pup also adored running loops around the big private yard and wooded area. We will definitely be back for another weekend getaway!

Very nice cabin. The wife and I came here for our 12th Wedding Anniversary. Very cozy and nicely equipped. Very nice location. The master bed was very comfortable. The hot tub and the set up was enjoyable. We are sure to be back in the near future.

A Cozy Cabin was better in person than the website pics! The cabin has everything we needed and then some! The Welcome Basket (filled with all local Farmers Market type goodies) was just sweet to see upon arrival! Great location! Very private and no ambient light around to distort your view of the stars while enjoying a warm fire at the firepit or in the hot tub (loved the lighting strung up around the lattice)! The screened in porch was perfect for the rainy day we had...nice to still get to be outside but be protected! If we get the chance, wouldnt hesitate to book A Cozy Cabin again!!

My husband and I found this cabin to be very enjoyable and are staying there again in January. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fireplace. The owners have the cabin nicely equipped and the master bed was very comfortable. Our suggestions for improvements would be a ceiling fan in the master bedroom because when the door is closed at night it gets hot and stuffy in the room. Also a couple ottomans in the living room area would be nice to prop your feet while enjoying the fireplace or watching tv. We are looking forward to coming back in January.

This cabin was the perfect getaway from the city for my wife, Christina, and I, and our happy little pittie named Luca. It was both convenient for a family wedding we attended nearby and great for relaxing and replenishing. We loved the privacy and freedom of the huge yard. Coming from an Arlington condo, it was wonderful being able spend the day BBQ-ing, playing games, exploring with Luca, and taking a slower pace. This cabin had everything we needed and we will definitely be back

Beautiful wooded location, very clean, exactly as described. No funky smells. Great place for a family get away. Host was friendly and check-in/check-out was smooth. If you want to get away from your hectic life, but tents and dirt arent your style, this is perfect. You will return refreshed. I recommend you sit on the screened porch and listen to the morning bird chorus. Wonderful experience. No, it was bliss!

Lovely, spacious cabin with plenty of room for our family of four. Great extra features - hot tub, fire pit,
bubbly bath (as our 3 year old called it!), we enjoyed them all.

An amazing place that is the essense of a getaway from the city. the cabin is well maintained and spacious- providing a perfect base from which to explore the region. We loved the fire pit and hot tub..the only way to truly relax after a day in the mountains. the price offered good value for money and we would recommend to any family wanting a taste of the real outdoors
Notes
Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.
