My girlfriend and I loved our stay at island ford. The location was exactly what we were looking for, on the river and peaceful. The cabin was in great condition and very clean. Loved the availability to use kayaks although the river was still too frozen to get use out of them. We also really enjoyed the furnace and hot tub. Our biggest compliment is how the cabin was ready to go for us on very short notice. We reserved the cabin online the morning of the first day we were to arrive. I will admit I was nervous doing this online especially on such short notice, being afraid the cabin wouldnt be ready when we arrived later that night. We were impressed how quickly our reservation got through to whoever was in charge of having the cabin ready for us and that it actually was perfectly ready when we arrived later that night. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with allstar Lodging and Cainey hollow Cabin. It was quick and easy to book the cabin, With the confirmation emails sent and Google maps it was very easy to find. Because of the extreme cold there was an issue with the water not running that first day but by the time we checked in the homeowner had fixed the issue. The next day the snow storm was so bad that Massanutten had lost their power and closed for the day, we were disappointed but not for long, we found a couple of sleds at the ace hardware and played in the snow all day and sit in front of the fire and enjoy the view. Cabin was nice and clean and well stocked. The homeowner even came out again that afternoon and plowed the driveway so we make it out. It was the perfect vacation for us and had a very pleasant experience with the cabin, homeowners and allstar Lodging. I will definitely recommend it to anyone! Thank you for the awesome service I will definitely be a return customer!

The accommodations were great. I was a bit concerned because pictures and descriptions can sometimes be deceiving, but the house more than exceeded our expectations. I appreciated the ease in making the reservations and the accessibility of the owners for concerns that arose. I would definitely recommend Allstar and Massanutten Gap. I just wished the weather had been more conducive to outdoor activities in the area :-) Angelique

The house was BEAUTIFUL, the surrounding area was BEAUTIFUL, and the modern kitchen was fully stocked so that we had no difficulties cooking a delicious steak dinner and and enjoying by the fireplace. I really over-packed because the house had everything we needed and more. While we wish you guys could have controlled the winter weather so we could spend more time outside of that warm little house, our pictures out in the snow will be even more memorable :) While I was a little bit nervous about showing up in such a secluded location without even meeting any of your staff in person beforehand, everything was perfectly taken care of and we were simply taken aback by what a lovely job the staff did scattering rose petals and candles throughout the house. Cant thank your team enough for exceeding our expectations, we will certainly be back to celebrate our anniversary with you guys in the future!

The experience at Hill Top Hideaway was spectacular. Its was me and my wifes first time in Shenandoah valley and it was marvelously refreshing. The house was cozy and I love the kitchen which I cooked both nights, the set up was neat and very intimate. It even snowed a little which was wonderful. My overall experience was excellent and I would go back anytime. Travis

My husband and I had a lovely time at the beautiful cabin. We had a difficult time getting there and leaving, however, so I think next time we will really pay attention to that "4 wheel drive" recommendation. It was a very cold weekend, and the pipes to the jacuzzi tub were frozen when we arrived. A call to All Start later, a really nice plumber came out to defrost the pipes for us so that we could use it that day (froze the following morning again). We appreciated the service very much, as the jacuzzi was one of the reasons we picked the cabin. We were very comfortable there and wish it was more accessible so that we could visit more often. I can not say enough about how wonderful our stay at Massanutten Gap was. The thoughtfulness of the email to inform us of snow and the need for a 4 wheel drive, the motion sensor lights to help with arrival, and the snow shovel were all very helpful. The house was warm and smelt delightful. The bedrooms were clean, the bathrom immaculate, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have ever wanted and needed. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the recliner, the sunrise and sunset from the wonderful wall of windows. We only observed a baby possum no other wildlife but he was quite cute climbing the hill out back. Our dog enjoyed the view from the windows and the coziness of both the fireplace and wood stove. The only downside is that we didnt realize we needed to bring firewood for the wood stove,and could not find an ash bucket. No worries a nice gentleman in the town of New Market at the hardware store helped us with that. We had a great stay and can not wait to return in the summer with our kids to do some hiking. loved the ambiance of the whole stay. The location was perfect. One morning we were out on the veranda eating breakfast when we saw an 8 point buck walk up from below. I also liked that there was a gate available on the verenda so that we could let our dog out and not worry about her running off. The best part of our stay was the big picture window. There was a bird feeder outside and most of the day we could watch the birds. The cabin was fully equipped. Even though we didnt use the wood stove it was a nice touch. I like that the cabin was set up for a dog. My daughter is a girl scout so she liked the fire pit and all of the wood. We had a great stay. Check in and out went smoothly and it was easy to book. Hi there, we had a great time at the misty river retreat, the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The view was great and we really lucked out with the weather too. The only thing we did not get a chance to do was go canoeing, I just wish we had more time there. We would love to come back some day and enjoy it again. Heather

A_Wild_Woods_Retreat was a very cozy and comfortable cabin. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. I enjoyed a quiet few days in the cabin and had no complaints. The fact that the only negative I can think of was that the pepper shaker was empty demonstrates how excellent my experience was. Sincerely Ewell

Good Morning. My stay at Eagles Nest was amazing. The cabin was easy to find, yet very secluded. The kitchen was well supplied for us to do all our own cooking. The hot tub was very relaxing, we got in several times. I very much enjoyed sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee. I would love to rent Eagles Nest again in the future with my family. I do have a couple of ideas for improvement. The cabin needs an entertainment bookcase, stocked with DVDs, books, current magazines, board games, and cards. I brought DVDs with me, but a lot of people dont think to bring that. Over all my stay was wonderful, and I would definitely come back. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much!!!! A Pebble Beach River Cabin was a wonderful experience. Inside and out this cabin was the perfect fit for our trip. We are 3 couples that love the area and it was our first time renting this place and it did not disappoint. The weather was great, the outdoor deck provide hours of relaxing from the hot tub to the table and chairs set up. The interior was very comfortable and well appointed. The river is a beautiful stretch of the Shenandoah and the mountains were beautiful. Everything was extremely clean, inside and out and the beds were comfy. Thank you for an excellent stay. Franklin Manor is a wonderful place to stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was tastefully decorated and felt like home. All our guests totally enjoyed our stay there. I would recommend that cabin to anyone that wants a really cool place to stay. Thank you, Phil

Hello Allstar, Our forth trip to Autumn Ridge and it was great as always. Thank You for doing what you guys do!! We experienced our first power outage in the mountains during that big rain storm. Power was out all over the place for 7 hours total. 5 Hours that Tuesady the 14th and 2 more hours that same night. So we had to light some candles that evening but it was still cool!!
