Well furnished. Great hot tub! Check in and checkout was super easy with the lockbox. Checkout instructions were very thorough and easy to follow; much appreciated. Wraparound porch is a nice feature as is the second floor balcony that we discovered upon arrival. Nice mountain and wooded views. River outfitters closeby. Nice quiet location. We filled out the guest comments book left in the home. Highly recommended. Will definitely consider for another future stay.

We had a fantastic stay. Loved the cabin and it was super quiet and comfy. Thank you for allowing dogs. The weather was not so hot so we went into Luray and toured the caverns and had lunch in a nice restaurant. Later in the day we kayaked a little on the River. I could have started the laundry/sheets before I left, but there was no soap. Otherwise, awesome.

Quiet, beautiful setting. The cabin was very comfortable for six of us including a one year old. It was well furnished with bedding linens, kitchen utensils etc. and games, books, magazines and videos. The deck, hot tub and the outdoor gas grill were enjoyed and much appreciated. Allstar made us feel very welcome and when we discovered we were out of dish washer soap, they were very quick to bring it to us. Great place, great service, and highly recommended.

I booked the cabin for my anniversary and it was AMAZING!!! It was just what we wanted for our weekend get away, private, cozy, and pet friendly. We felt right at home and so did our pup, grilled out, relaxed in the hot tub and sat by the fire and watched Smokey in the Bandit. We already want to book another weekend in January. We look forward to booking this place again real soon. Sharon

Hello! My husband and I stayed at Woodland Magic for one week during September 2012. Our experience there was amazing! We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin and the amenities that were offered. Woodland Magic had absolutely everything we needed and more! We are basically newlyweds who never had the opportunity to have a honeymoon so our week at Woodland Magic was our "mini-honeymoon getaway" and we couldnt have asked for or planned a more perfect vacation spot. We were like kids again - roasting hotdogs over the fire and making smores all in the privacy of our semi-secluded backyard! LOVED the hot tub - was SO relaxing. The location was perfect! We were minutes away from Luray, so we went for a drive, taking in the sights and touring the caverns - beautiful! Our only regret? That we hadnt booked a longer visit - will DEFINTELY do so next time! We are looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for making our visit so special. Brenda & Buck

We had such a great time - you made it easy to complete the reservation, get into the house, and leave on time. We ran the Luray 10K and went to the Luray Caverns. Next time we will save some energy to do some more local hiking and such. thanks again! - Rita

I would like to say that I really do appreciate all the effort you put into our last stay at Woodland Magic. I was a wonderful vacation. In fact my family has never stopped talking about the entire experience. The worst part of planning a vacation is all the stress that occurs with the search, reservation and locating of the accommodations for your stay. I have never in the past 7 years of planning holiday and regular vacations found a better staff and facilities then that of All Star Lodging. Again Thank you and again you may quote me. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and Christmas-New Years! I would also love to set those reservations in place if you could get me a price on those days please. Thanks again

Notes

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.
