Our stay at the Riverside Retreat was nothing short of absolutely amazing! Our boys were in "awe" with the cabin and the surrounding areas, we enjoyed kayaking, building a fire, and good old family time with board games and hot chocolate. It was wonderful that the owners of the cabin had WIFI and a phone, they also have it equipped with Dish TV, but that also had VHS movies and we were able to enjoy those as well. We look forward to vising again and we appreciate the owners opening their home to us.

We had a wonderful time and hope to return to your cabin. It was perfect for us, secluded yet close to town and many attractions. The large backyard was great for our 4 year old to run off some energy. Absolutely enjoyed everything you provided! The river running behind the cabin was relaxing and a plus to our stay. Again, thank you! Travis

Hey there! We had a great time in the Shenandoah Valley. The description and pictures of the cabin were spot on. I loved being on the river and having the kayaks made the stay. To be on the water without them would have been a waste. The ease of the lockbox was great. It did take us a little bit longer to get to skyline drive than i would have liked, but still would change being on the river. I would definitely recommend this cabin and all star lodging to friends and would come back under the same circumstances.

They stay at the cabin was great! I loved the seclusion of the cabin and the beautiful view of the river from the deck. I wish that we could have stayed more than 2 nights. Although there was a huge selection of movies available to watch, the actual TV programing was limited. Some movie channels would have been awesome. Other than that we had a great visit in a wonderful and clean cabin. Thank you Caroline

We had an amazing vacation at our cabin! Even though the weather was cold and rainy my 3 children were still more than entertained with the board games and video selection. Location was beautiful and quiet. We will definitely be returning again.

Our stay was very pleasant and the home was clean and well-furnished. We greatly appreciate your allowing our well-behaved dogs to accompany us, as they are part of the family.

Our stay was great! The property was perfect for our family. The open layout, canoe, fire pit, board games and movies made for a great long weekend in a beautiful setting. Weve rented many cabins in the mid-Atlantic and I was very happy with the cleanliness and overall condition of Riverside Retreat. Keep up the good work.

Our stay at Riverside Retreat was great. We got off to a little bit of a rocky start due to user error: we had trouble identifying the proper cabin. The numbering along that road is a little strange, and I think I counted that the cabin is the 8th rather than the 7th as indicated in the instructions. That said, when I called Allstar, we got great and prompt attention, which is really nice, and it all worked out. The house is well-appointed. The selection of movies and games is really nice. All in all we were, again, pleased, with our rental through Allstar and are likely to use you all again

We had a wonderful time at the riverside retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable and there were sure lots of games and tapes. I loved not having to deal with internet and cellphones, great treat and the location is superb.

My son and I spent several relaxing days at Riverside Retreat. Everything was as advertised or better. The location on the river was perfect and we were fortunate to have fantastic weather during our stay. We will be back. It was a great experience. Thank you. - Jeff

We enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Retreat. The accommodations were wonderful, giving us many things to do on the river & also indoors. Thank you, Lisa

Notes

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.
