Little Bear Log cabin is a beautiful log vacation home, completed in 2004 and has been used since then as a model home for Log Home company representatives! This romantic get-away features 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, amazing views of the Massanutten Mountain and can accommodate from 1 to 7 guests (4 Adults Max). With a single level floor plan, everything is easily accessible. The master suite features a queen-sized sleigh bed, private sliding door to deck and private bath with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and twin on top, with a private sliding door to the deck and direct access to the outdoor hot tub. The dining area and convenient kitchen – which comes fully equipped for all your cooking needs – open to the spacious, yet cozy great room dominated by the wood burning fireplace with sliding doors on either side opening to the huge back deck. The great room features 2 bookcases filled with an eclectic array of titles, comfortable futon easy chairs and sofa as well as a Belgian Oak Bar w/stools and a small refrigerator. The back deck extends across the rear of the cabin with six deck chairs and cushions as well as the gas grill and hot tub. Ample Tiki torches only add to the evening’s ambiance! Enjoy your coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evening from the deck as you watch deer, turkey, grouse and the occasional black bear frolic below you in the forest and bald eagles soar above you in the skies! This home has been considered by far the most welcoming rental property in the Shenandoah Valley—perhaps Virginia!

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However there are many side roads that are gravel or hard packed dirt surfaces. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly.
