Bedrooms are locked within the suite depending on number of reserved guests, based on 2 guest per bed. Base rate includes 2 children free and 2nd bedroom would be made available. For additional children, if additional rooms are available within the suite, rate is $25 per room, per night.

Nestled in the woods of the Moorefield, West Virginia mountain slope, Il Bella Vista Retreat is comprised of four suites, which may be rented in its entirety or as separate units.

Appropriately named, as it literally rests on the side of a high cliff, Cliffside offers spectacular views as well as peaceful sounds of water falling over moss covered rocks, all within view from the house. Also, there are panoramic views of majestic mountain ranges encompassed by a gently flowing winding river. This luxurious home with spacious rooms, numerous large windows through out the house, a screened porch, a large octagonal deck, and balconies off of three of the bedrooms, offers guests a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature in comfort. Wildlife is in abundance with deer, wild turkeys, and many species of birds. Occasionally, a bald eagle will fly over. Guests may hike in the woods, do nature hunts, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the picturesque mountain stream, fish at the nearby trout farm and crossover the mountain, an adventure in itself, to visit the fish hatchery.

Guests may experience a leisurely walk along a picturesque mountain stream. For guests who may want more adventure, it is located within a forty-five minute to a two hour drive of many state and national parks.

A short distance away are public boat accesses and outfitters that will allow guests to canoe, kayak, or float down some of the most scenic rivers in West Virginia.

The gas log fireplace is turned off every May 15 until October 1. It is unavailable for use during these dates.

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However there are many side roads that are gravel or hard packed dirt surfaces. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4 wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.
