The cabin was clean. I had no fear of using any thing in there. The cabin and gounds are well kept. I felt secure. I found two things to pass on: 1. There IS an ice maker, therefore no need to buy a bag of ice :) 2. You do get cell phone service in and around the area of the cabin (AT&T) therefore no need to purchase a calling card :). Thank you for your services.

The Eagles Nest has every comfort of home, from a spacious sectional soft to a very nice-sized and functional kitchen to a master bedroom with its own A/C unit (a big plus on hot nights!). The location is a bit remote, so I recommend driving in during the daytime. Other big pluses: a huge back porch that is ready for grilling (not to mention the fun our dog out there -- this cabin is dog-friendly). We readily recommend Eagles Nest for a weekend getaway, or for a longer stay based on its close proximity to New Market, Luray and a number of area attractions. We also wish to extend our gratitude to Allstar Lodging for helping us put together a relaxing weekend. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our weekend at the Eagle's Nest. The cabin is very private and comfortable. We were surrounded trees and it felt like we were in a treehouse! Our dog enjoyed walks along the private driveway/roads. We also enjoyed a visit to 'Endless Caverns' (about 15-20 minutes away) which was perfect on a hot summer day. The Eagle's Nest is perfect for a couple's get-away weekend.
