It was an excellent getaway for us. The place is very quiet at night and with almost no 'light pollution' around, we were able to see millions of stars and some shooting stars. The property is very clean and cozy. The owner did a very good job in maintaining the place.

The cabin was fairly remote, which is what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, the wood-burning stove was great, the views were great, and the hiking was pretty good.

Tanners Ridge Cabin was lovely, secluded, on top of the mountains with great views. Allstar Lodging's rental and concierge services are superb, my wife was thrilled with the flowers and chocolate covered strawberries awaiting our arrival. I preferred floating a canoe down river while fishing. Can't wait to come back.

I must first say thank you to the owner of the property for building such a marvelous cabin. I also must thank the Allstar Lodging representative that was honest with me in helping me pick the best location for me and my fiance. My fiance lives in Florida and I live in Pennsylvania, so it was a beautiful place for us to relax. My fiance and I had a great time and we plan to return on a yearly basis until we build our own retreat. Everything was provided...the decor was warm and inviting...the location of the cabin was in the best view of the mountain. WE LOVED IT. I brought an antenna, so we were able to watch the Olympics together. That was great! That was our first time being in a cabin and now will not go back to just a hotel. We are travelers, so we will look for cabins to stay in where available. I must say that we had a great time. I have been telling others about it and now they want to check it out. I think that is one of the best cabins in that area. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Let me know when you will have discounts on that cabin so I can plan it then we will be able to visit more than once a year. Keep me on your mailing list. Thanks again, Maguy Israel

we enjoyed the nice house and beautiful terrace and view. Everything we needed was there. The only thing we did not like were the ants. But thats nature! We really had a nice stay.
